NEW YORK BOOK AWARDS 2014
Well known Clinical Hypnotherapist, Maggie Wilde has scooped a silver medal in the prestigious 2014 Independent Publisher (IPPY) Book Awards this week in New York.
Known for her cutting edge work in weight loss, Wilde’s self-help book “UNZIP THE FAT SUIT USING YOUR MIND” secured the silver medal in the Psychology and Mental Health category.
Conducted annually, the “IPPY” Awards are the world’s largest Book Award Contest. Launched in 1996 the Awards honour the year’s best independently published titles and attract over 5000 entrants from around the world.
The Awards are designed to bring increased recognition to the deserving but often unsung titles published by independent authors and publishers. “Unzip” stands out as a shining example of originality, one of the key criteria of the Awards.
The book features a unique audio and visual program Wilde calls the ‘CPR – Mind Potential Kit™’ which demonstrates easy to use processes which help control habits, program the mind for slim and healthy attitudes and rewire the brain for permanent change. With 3 out of 5 Australians suffering obesity, the book is a beacon of hope for the weight conscious.
Containing strategies Wilde used to overcome her own weight challenges, Wilde states; “The book and DVD provide the answer to issues most yo-yo dieters experience such as the battle with cravings; stress, boredom and comfort eating.
“It’s an honour to receive this award given the number of entries,” Wilde adds. “We have testimonials from hundreds of people who have used the book to achieve results they never thought possible. It’s my dream to teach more people there is a way to get slim and healthy for good.”
Ambassador for the book, Trish Walker, claims; “I am half the size and twice the woman,” after successfully reducing her size by over 80kg simply by following the ‘Unzip’ principles.
Wilde flies to the States later this month to receive the award and attend the New York Book Expo, the largest Author and Book event in the US “Unzip The Fat Suit Using Your Mind” is available on line at unzipthefatsuit.com and Amazon.com
